Great hires fit the work, not just the resume.

TeamIndex helps hiring teams understand how people naturally work and how they think, so candidates land in roles where they can actually thrive.

Got an assessment link from a hiring team? It takes about 10 minutes. Good luck!

How it works

1

You get a link

No account, no app to install. The hiring team sends a link when you apply, and another after a first interview.

2

Two short assessments

A work-style survey with no right answers (about 10 minutes, untimed), and later a 10-minute timed reasoning test. Your progress saves automatically.

3

People make the decision

Results go to the hiring team as one input among many, read alongside interviews, work samples, and references. Never a pass/fail verdict.

The science behind it

TeamIndex draws on two of the most-studied ideas in workplace psychology. The first: work style can be described along a small set of stable factors, a tradition refined across decades of personality research. The second: general reasoning ability, measured with short timed tests, is among the most consistent predictors of how quickly people learn and handle complex, changing work, a finding replicated across a century of studies on job performance.

Our instruments are original and purpose-built on that research: a two-step work-style survey measuring five factors, and a timed reasoning test spanning verbal, numerical, and abstract problems. There are no trick questions and no hidden agenda; the behavioral survey genuinely has no right answers.

Just as important is what assessments are not. They are one structured input alongside interviews and real work, administered identically to every candidate for a role, so decisions get more consistent and less subject to first-impression bias, for both the company and you.

A

Drive

How assertively someone pursues outcomes and takes charge.

B

Sociability

How much energy they draw from people and persuasion.

C

Pace

Whether they thrive on steadiness or on speed and variety.

D

Structure

How they relate to rules, precision, and detail.

E

Judgment

Whether decisions lean on evidence or on instinct and values.

For candidates

  • Fast and low-stress: about 10 minutes per assessment, on any device.
  • Your progress autosaves; a dropped connection never loses your answers.
  • Most people do not finish the timed test. That is by design, so do not sweat it.
  • Your responses are shared only with the hiring team that sent your link, with your consent, and never sold.

For hiring teams

  • Objective signal on work style and learning speed before the first call.
  • A consistent, fair process: every candidate gets the same assessments.
  • Plain-language profiles your whole team can read without training.
  • Full history per candidate, including how results hold up over time.
